Series A financing round raises a total of CHF 23 million (US$ 19 million) with new lead investor Advent Venture Partners (UK), in addition to previous existing investors. This financing round has enabled the initiation and development of a 4mAb™ based internal pipeline.

4-Antibody relocates and expands its facility from the Biocenter, University of Basel, into stand-alone R&D facilities at the Rosental Biopark, Basel.

4-Antibody establishes a wholly owned subsidiary in Jena, Germany, obtaining additional funds of almost CHF 1 million from the regional state-owned bank, for company critical R&D work.

4-Antibody receives patent protection for its proprietary 4mAb™ technology by issue of a European patent.

4-Antibody secures seed financing of CHF 2.75 million (US$ 2.3 million) from an international consortium of four venture capital investors including Life Sciences Partners (NL), Biomedinvest (CH), Grazia-Equity (D), and Mulligan Biocapital (D) to develop the 4mAb™ discovery platform.

4-Antibody launches operations at facilities in the Biocenter of the University of Basel.

4-Antibody is legally incorporated and founded in Basel, Switzerland, by Dr. Ulf Grawunder, Prof. Fritz Melchers and Dr. Dirk Haasner.
